GrowthStack Advisory / Ruchi Mittal
Founder Profile
Ruchi Mittal: the operating half of the engine
Co-founder of GrowthStack Advisory, owning delivery and GTM operations. A career in global technology, SaaS and media that starts in 2007, built from inside the company rather than from a slide.
Short answer. Ruchi Mittal co-founded GrowthStack Advisory in October 2024 with Shobhit Gupta. She was Chief Operating Officer at LocalOye, the Tiger Global and Lightspeed backed marketplace she helped build from an idea to operations across five cities; General Manager for Growth at ShopX; Director of Inside Sales at Locus; and a Customer Success Manager at Apollo.io. In an engagement Shobhit owns what the strategy should be. Ruchi owns whether it actually ran.
Why the split matters
Most GTM advice fails at the same point. The strategy is sound, the deck is agreed, and then nothing happens on a Tuesday. Sequences sit half built, the CRM fills with fields nobody completes, and by week six the campaign cannot be diagnosed because no two weeks were run the same way.
GrowthStack is built around that failure. One founder owns targeting, positioning and the qualification standard. The other owns delivery: sequences live in market, the toolstack and workflows configured, data hygiene maintained, and a weekly operating rhythm that makes the campaign diagnosable rather than merely busy.
It is not a division invented for a website. Both founders spent three years building the revenue engine at Locus, Shobhit leading global sales development and Ruchi running inside sales. The split at GrowthStack is the one they already ran together.
Building a company from an idea to five cities
Ruchi was Chief Operating Officer at LocalOye, a services marketplace backed by Tiger Global and Lightspeed. She helped build it from an idea to operations across five cities.
She describes it as having grown two early stage internet ideas into worldwide million dollar companies, the second being Locus, a Series B business at the time she joined. That is a different kind of experience from advising on growth. A marketplace has to solve supply and demand at once, in every city it opens, with operations that hold up when volume arrives. The habits that come out of it, which is what to standardise, what to leave flexible, and how to tell the difference before it costs you a quarter, are the same habits that decide whether an outbound motion survives contact with a real team.
Seeing the sales intelligence layer from the inside
Ruchi was a Customer Success Manager at Apollo.io. Most GTM consultants meet tools as buyers. She met them as the person responsible for whether customers actually got value out of one.
That shapes how GrowthStack configures a stack. The question is never which tool has the longer feature list. It is which one a rep will still be using in week seven, and what has to be true for that to happen. It is also why the site publishes tool comparisons that regularly conclude you should not buy the tool yet: Outreach vs Salesloft and the AI sales development stack both end that way.

Where the global expansion experience comes from
"Global expansion" is the middle third of her LinkedIn headline, and it is literal rather than aspirational. The work has been done on the ground in four markets:
- Indonesia · ran marketing and distribution for PT Tripar Multivision Plus from Jakarta, growing market share across six South East Asian countries
- North America · part of UTV's international sales unit from Los Angeles, distributing Indian content into the US market
- India · Viacom18, LocalOye and ShopX in Mumbai and Bengaluru, including building a marketplace from an idea to five cities
- Remote and distributed · Locus and Apollo.io, both run remotely across time zones, then GrowthStack from Portugal
That matters for outbound work more than it sounds. A sequence that lands in one market often dies in another, and the reason is usually buying process rather than copy. Having run distribution in South East Asia and North America is a different qualification from having read about them.

Who is Ruchi Mittal?+
Ruchi Mittal co-founded GrowthStack Advisory in October 2024 with Shobhit Gupta and owns delivery and GTM operations. What does Ruchi Mittal own in an engagement?+
Delivery.
